A: To ensure the health and safety of our puppy passengers, we enforce a strict "no paws on the ground" policy during transportation. Puppies are never permitted to touch the ground in public areas, and we avoid contact with other people and animals.

While airport pet relief stations may be used at our discretion for adult pets, these facilities are not suitable for vulnerable puppies. Instead, we provide a portable pop-up tent that allows your puppy to have a clean, private space to relieve themselves comfortably during our travels.

Q: What happens if the flight is canceled or delayed?

A: While delays and cancellations are inevitable in air travel, we plan for the worst and hope for the best to ensure we are always prepared.

Q: Why do some trips require three flights?

A: Most pets are picked up from breeders or placement organizations in another state, so a typical flight nanny trip may include:

Flight from Georgia to the pickup airport
Flight from pickup to the delivery airport
Return flight home to Georgia

This ensures we’re with your pet the entire time. We don’t rely on airport staff or third-party handlers—your pet stays in our care, start to finish.

Q: Can I provide my own carrier?

A: Yes! —but only if it meets airline requirements and is pre-approved by us before the trip. For most flight nanny trips, especially when we are picking up from a breeder or third party, **supplies must be purchased through us** to ensure everything is ready before travel day.

Pet transportation for small pets under 25 lbs. Your small dog, cat, or rabbit can fly safely in the cabin of a commercial plane with a flight nanny as a carry-on.

Before your flight

Your pet must be at least 8 weeks old and under 25 lbs.
Must have a health certificate issued by a vet within 10 days of travel.
Request a quote and let us know your preferred pickup and delivery airports.
Ground pickup/delivery can be arranged as needed.
For flights, we require the full payment to be made in full at the time of booking. This helps us with reservations, and our travel as well.

(Before travel)

Sign our contract agreement.
We will purchase our airfare and make a pet reservation.
The day before the flight, we will confirm our flight itinerary and schedule with you.
We will prepare an airline-approved carrier for the trip.

(Day of Delivery)

We meet your pet at your preferred airport 2 hrs before departure.
You will receive live GPS tracking as soon as we pick up your pet from the Breeder/Shelter, Etc. and head to the airport.
Your pet flies in the cabin of the plane under the seat in front of the flight nanny.
Don't worry, we have a NO paws on the ground policy! (if under 10 weeks old) For potty breaks, we will accommodate and make sure we are prepared with plenty of potty pads so they will not touch the ground. We want to prevent any illness'.
