Your pet will travel in a climate-controlled vehicle, accompanied by a dedicated handler who will cater to their needs throughout the trip. With GPS tracking and real-time photo updates, you’ll stay informed and connected to your pet’s journey every step of the way!

How Our Packages Work:
After you submit your request for a quote, our team will reach out to discuss your specific transport needs. During this call, we’ll offer the option to add any of our special packages to your quote. The cost of the chosen package will be added to your total.
Payment Details:

Ground Transport: 50% of the total (including the package) is due on the reservation date, with the remaining 50% due on or before the departure/pick-up date.

While Pawsitively Safe primarily focuses on offering VIP, private transportation for individual pets, we occasionally accommodate shared pet taxi transport in specific circumstances. This may include shelter and rescue organizations moving multiple pets at once or pet parents with more than one pet traveling together.
We assess each shared transport request on a case-by-case basis to ensure it is feasible and suitable for all pets involved. Shared transport will only proceed with the full consent of all clients, ensuring comfort and safety for every pet during the journey.

Emergency Care:
Pawsitively Safe VIP Transport specializes in routine (non-emergency) transportation services. While we are certified in dog and cat first aid and CPR, we do not have the medical equipment, medications, or supplies typically found in an animal ambulance, such as oxygen machines or life-saving drugs. For local pet taxi services, we are more than willing to help when we can, and we will do our best to assist with transportation in urgent situations. However, we are not equipped to provide urgent care or medical emergency services.
We understand how stressful it can be when your pet needs help. While we mostly operate by appointment, we strive to respond quickly to all requests, and we can often accommodate same-day appointments depending on availability. We aim to assist with urgent situations whenever possible.
Our Commitment and Policies:
At Pawsitively Safe VIP Transport, the safety and well-being of all pets in our care is our top priority. We use pet-safe sanitizing techniques that protect against Parvo to clean our vehicles and equipment between each transport, and we have a strict vaccination policy to protect every animal, especially those who are young or vulnerable. We transport puppies, 8 weeks or older, who haven’t yet completed their full round of vaccinations when they are being transported from their breeder to their new home. However, we do not transport sick puppies or adult pets that are not up-to-date on their vaccinations, as this is essential to preventing the spread of disease and protecting all the animals we transport.
While we have strict policies regarding vaccination and illness, we welcome micro-sized, elderly pets and pets on medication who may need extra care or attention. We’re more than happy to provide them with a comfortable, safe, and compassionate journey. We take special care in ensuring that their needs are met while keeping them safe and secure during transport.
Above all, we are a husband-and-wife team, with a passion for and commitment to the well-being of all pets. We are here to ensure your pet's comfort and safety throughout their journey. We will do everything we can to help you find a solution for your pet’s specific transport needs, even if we are unable to do the transport ourselves. As we continue to grow and expand, our ability to accommodate even more clients and urgent situations will also grow.

Q: Will my pet travel in a kennel?
A: For shared rides, we will provide a sanitized, safety-tested hard kennel for each passenger. Alternatively, you can purchase a kennel from our recommended items page and have it with you at pick up or have it mailed to us directly.
For private rides, your pet's obedience level will determine if they can ride in a kennel or be secured with a safety tether in the backseat. If we are transporting 3 or fewer puppies from the same litter, each puppy parent can choose which option they would prefer.
Regardless of the transport method, all ground-traveling pets must wear a snug-fitting harness for safety.
Q: Who will be driving my pet(s)?
A: Pawsitively Safe is a small, family-owned pet transportation company. Your pet's driver will typically be myself or my husband.
Our primary goal is to accommodate your pet's transport needs to the fullest. However, on the rare occasion that my husband and I are unavailable, we can match you with one of our trusted partners who is closer to your pickup location or has the necessary availability. We know our drivers personally, have met them in person, and can confidently vouch for the quality of service they will provide to your family. We will always discuss these alternative arrangements with you in advance.
Q: Can I meet the transport team before the journey?
A: Yes, we encourage meeting our team before the journey to discuss any specific needs or concerns you may have about your pet's transport. In most cases, we can arrange a FaceTime meeting to answer any questions and ensure you feel comfortable with us. Depending on your location, we may also be able to arrange an in-person meeting.

A: If you need to make changes to the transport arrangement, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, though adjustments may be subject to availability.

A: Yes! We offer real-time tracking with regular text and photo updates on your pet's status throughout the journey to keep you informed and reassured.
Q: How do you ensure my pet's safety during transport?
A: We prioritize your pet's safety by using well-tested, secure crates and ensuring that all vehicles are equipped to meet the highest safety standards. Our team is trained in Pet First Aid and has experience in handling a variety of pets and breeds.
